Our six-week computer skills training course is designed for individuals who need computer skills in an accelerated environment. This 6-week program provides the framework to give students training in Microsoft Business Applications, E-mail accounts, on-line job search skills and Internet research. If you need computer skills to advance in your current job, obtain an entry-level position, or just for fun...this is the program for you!

Six-week Clerical Administration Training

EOIT's Six-week Clerical Administration training is for individuals that need intensive computer skills training and soft skills training. This includes displaced workers, those whom are transitioning into the work field and at-risk youth. Our Clerical Administration training is a full day training program which consists of half day instruction in Microsoft Business Applications, Keyboarding, Data Entry, E-mail accounts, on-line job search skills and Internet research. Clerical and academic instruction includes "Your Attitude Counts" (professional and personal development), English/grammar, Business Mathematics, The Ten Universal Rules of Filing, receptionist, telephone techniques and customer servicing.

Six-week Data Entry Specialist Training

For those who want a career in a Data Entry environment...this is the training for you! EOIT's Data Entry Specialist training focuses on building keystroke speed. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Keyboarding, Data Entry, E-mail accounts, on-line job search skills and Internet research is part of the Data Entry Specialist Training. Employment can be secured as a Data Collector; Data Processor; Data Entry Clerk and various accounting areas.

Four-week A+ Certification Training

Through hands-on training and exercises, students will become trained and proficient in analyzing computer software/hardware problems and repair hardware. Disassemble and rebuild computer, replace parts or upgrade system; explore troubleshooting techniques; learn safety and preventive maintenance of PC. Perform installations and configurations. Students will also learn basic networking concepts. Competencies in this training program are measured by successful completion of two CompTIA certification exams.

8-week Medical Administrative Assistant Training

This exciting 8-week program combines the best of two professions. Keyboarding, Data Entry, Microsoft Business Applications, E-mail accounts, on-line job search skills and Internet research provides students with a proficient level of technology skills. Embedded in the medical terminology training is receptionist, telephone techniques, customer service and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).

12-week computer/business skills training

Our 12-week computer/business skills training course focuses on those who have little to no experience working in an office environment. Intensive instruction is given in the areas of Microsoft Business Applications, Keyboarding, Data Entry, E-mail accounts, on-line job search skills and Internet research. Soft skills training includes "Your Attitude Counts" (professional and personal development), English/grammar, Business Mathematics, The Ten Universal Rules of Filing, receptionist, telephone techniques and customer servicing.

Technology, Work-based, Education and Employment Development for Youth (TWEED)

"TWEED" is a customized training program for at-risk youth between the ages of 17 and 21 who have advanced years and few to no high school credits. TWEED gives students the opportunity to earn a HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma) using various on-line instruction. Not only do students focus on core subjects, they also develop job readiness skills, participate in Apprenticeships/Internships, learn life management and financial management skills as well as create a functional resume and develop successful interviewing skills. Job placement and advocacy is part of this program.
